Hi, I'm Julian

Founder and CEO of Perfect Equilibrium™ Inc, committed to helping organizations and high achievers realize their full potential in healthier ways. I’m thrilled you’re here!

Prior to founding Perfect Equilibrium™, I enjoyed a successful career as a musician and entrepreneur. I performed to millions around the world as a Music Director for Broadway shows, winning the Los Angeles Critics Award for Best Music Direction for my work on ‘Hamilton’, while building four successful businesses in the creative sector.

Commitment and hard work are in my DNA, but it hasn’t all been straight forward.

In 2017, just after conducting a performance of the Broadway musical Hamilton, I experienced a heart attack.

I was 43 years old.

My body finally said no more to the workaholism, stress, perfectionism and self-medication associated with high achievement.

I could have quit the show, and retired to less stressful pastures. But I didn’t. Instead, I began to find ways to achieve success in healthier ways.

I discovered how to reframe the approach to my work so that stress was reduced but high standards and expectations were maintained. I realized that managing the issues known to affect creative high achievers - workaholism, perfectionism, impostor syndrome, anxiety, and loneliness etc - was imperative to realize my full potential. I understood that my extensive research on burnout in high achievers would at some point help change other people’s lives. So I burrowed deeper.

I learned, and I built. And then learned some more.

When I finally quit Hamilton, I created a method for burnout-free success. I called it Perfect Equilibrium™.

Today, I use the Perfect Equilibrium™ Method to help organizations create optimized social environment, flexible systems, and augmented management styles, so that they and the high achieving creatives they employ can thrive!
