What is a Discovery Session?
This is a FREE 20-30 minute phone call where I learn a bit about you and the problems you’re experiencing and answer any questions you have about coaching. At the end of the call, I offer my best suggestion at how we might move forward, and we agree on how we will work together. There is absolutely no pressure to sign up to coaching on this call. If you need more time before signing up, or you just don’t think it’s a good fit for you, no problem!
What exactly is the goal in our coaching?
My programs are designed to help you create a new healthier blueprint for your perfectionism, identifying the parts that work for and against you before building a solid management strategy that inspires better performance. Every perfectionist is different, so each new blueprint will be unique to the client dependent on how perfectionism affects them and what their goals are.
Is this therapy?
No. Although they do share similarities, coaching is very different to therapy. Coaches focus on the present and the future – looking at where you are, where you’d like to be, and how to get there – whereas therapists focus more on the past, resolving past trauma and other issues.
Our work together will likely uncover ‘blocks’, such as limiting beliefs and fears etc, and I’m well positioned to be able to effectively manage and build on these issues to take you forward. Should our progress be challenged by something deeper in your past, I would refer you to a trained psychotherapist who will be able to help you alongside our work together.
How much do you charge?
A 4 session package ranges from $600 – $700 and my 8 session package ranges from $1200 – $1400 dependent on whether you pay in full up front or before each session. Each session lasts 55 minutes. I do not work on an individual session basis as this is not beneficial to the client.
How many sessions should I have?
Most clients book the 4-session package to begin with, and we assess progress at the end to see how we’d like to proceed.
Do you have a code of Ethics?
I operate using the Codes of Ethics for the Board Certified Coach from the Center for Credentialing & Education and the International Coach Federation. All information discussed in our sessions is strictly confidential.
What guarantees are there that I will see results?
This is a results-driven program that has been specifically designed to help you understand your perfectionism and deliver new ways to manage it. These techniques take time to implement in performance and require dedication from the client to see results.
If at any point you do not feel you are getting GREAT value for money, I will happily discuss your concerns, and issue a refund for all future sessions should we decide that this process isn’t for you.
